Eight-Channel CobraNet Audio over Ethernet Support

The IP108-CS supports eight digital message channels via CobraNet Audio over Ethernet (AoE), allowing digital audio to travel over existing Ethernet infrastructure without the need for complex rewiring. This integration enables synchronized, low-latency audio distribution across wide area networks (WAN) and local area networks (LAN), making it an excellent choice for facilities expanding or modernizing legacy paging systems with digital networking.

Announcements can be triggered from contact closures, paging stations, or via standard IP network commands. Extensive Message Handling and Text-to-Speech Capabilities

With support for up to 65,565 message priority levels and NeverMISS™ technology, this controller ensures high-priority alerts are never delayed. The unit can store up to 250 hours of WAV-format messages and supports playback in multiple languages. It also includes a built-in text-to-speech engine, allowing instant voice generation in default or optional multilingual formats without relying on pre-recorded files—ideal for dynamic, real-time messaging needs.

Smart Alerts and Scheduling Tools for Emergency Preparedness

Emergency alerting is managed through AtlasIED’s S.A.F.E. (Smart Alerts For Emergencies) feature set, which helps dispatch life-safety messages quickly and accurately. A built-in scheduler allows the creation of detailed message profiles for routine announcements, background music, shift changes, or special events. LDAP and Active Directory support add another layer of control, giving IT administrators seamless user authentication and access management across the network.

Flexible Input and Output Integration for System Expansion

The IP108-CS includes eight logic inputs and eight relay outputs for connection to external sensors, security systems, or fire alarms. Two balanced line-level analog audio inputs allow the integration of BGM sources or legacy analog paging systems.
