The AtlasIED IP116-CS is a centralized IP-based controller designed to serve as the command center for the GLOBALCOM® communications platform. With integrated CobraNet audio and VoIP capabilities, it facilitates real-time messaging, scheduled announcements, intercom, and emergency alerts across a wide array of IP endpoints. From digital paging stations and IP speakers to network amplifiers and external audio sources, this controller coordinates all messaging flow within large-scale or multi-site networks.
CobraNet Audio over Ethernet Provides Scalable Audio Distribution
Built with sixteen CobraNet digital message channels, the IP116-CS enables high-quality audio delivery over standard Ethernet infrastructure. This allows system integrators to efficiently distribute live or pre-recorded messages to specific zones, buildings, or campus-wide locations without additional analog cabling. CobraNet AoE support ensures low-latency, synchronized transmission for critical audio announcements in real-time.
Built-In GCK Software and Browser-Based Setup for Easy Integration
The IP116-CS ships with GCK software pre-installed, offering a ready-to-deploy solution that simplifies configuration through an intuitive browser-based interface. VoIP Connectivity Enables Multi-Site Paging and Emergency Alerts
With native support for VoIP protocols and SIP/PBX trunking, the IP116-CS can communicate over Wide Area Networks (WAN), enabling paging and emergency alerts across multiple locations or campuses. Announcements can be initiated through IP network triggers, VoIP phones, contact closures, or microphone paging stations. The controller also includes eight logic inputs and eight relay outputs, allowing connection to external systems like fire panels, door controls, or security triggers.
Supports Text-to-Speech, Multilingual Messaging, and Message Scheduling
This controller handles ad hoc, delayed, and scheduled announcements with support for both pre-recorded WAV files and real-time text-to-speech (TTS) conversion. The TTS engine can generate alerts in multiple languages, making it suitable for diverse environments or multilingual audiences. With support for up to 250 hours of stored messages, a built-in scheduler, and up to 65,565 levels of message priority using NeverMISS™ logic, the IP116-CS ensures alerts and messages are delivered exactly when and where they’re needed.
Supports LDAP, Active Directory, and Emergency Response Protocols
To streamline administration, the controller is compatible with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Microsoft Active Directory, providing centralized user authentication. Emergency response is bolstered by S.A.F.E.™ (Smart Alerts For Emergencies), enabling fast, system-wide activation of emergency protocols through standard triggers or integrated systems. This makes the IP116-CS ideal for critical infrastructure facilities, airports, transportation hubs, and enterprise campuses.
