The Audio-Technica PRO8HEX is a hypercardioid dynamic headworn microphone that is designed for a variety of professional sound reinforcement and recording applications. It is known for its excellent gain before feedback, outstanding vocal clarity, and comfortable, lightweight design.
The PRO8HEX features a Hi-ENERGY® neodymium element for articulate vocal reproduction. It also has a hypercardioid polar pattern, which means that it picks up sound from the front and rejects sound from the sides and rear. This helps to reduce feedback and ambient noise.
The PRO8HEX is housed in a durable metal housing and features a low-visibility headband and cushioned support pads for a comfortable, stable fit. The microphone also features a pivot-mounted flexible mic boom that descends from either the left or right side.
