Professional UHF Handheld Wireless System with VX5 Condenser Capsule

The Audix AP41VX5B Performance Series Wireless System is a single-channel handheld UHF microphone system built for vocalists, presenters, houses of worship, conference centers, and live production environments that demand clarity and dependable wireless performance. This configuration pairs the R41 diversity receiver with the H60 handheld transmitter equipped with the VX5 supercardioid condenser capsule, delivering detailed vocal reproduction, stable RF transmission, and streamlined setup for professional stage and installed sound applications.

Wideband Diversity Receiver with Fast Channel Setup

The R41 diversity receiver operates in the 554 to 586 MHz frequency range and provides 32 MHz of tuning bandwidth with 106 factory-coordinated frequencies for quick deployment. One-touch auto scan identifies the strongest available frequency, while infrared sync links the transmitter instantly. The high-contrast LCD displays group, channel, frequency, RF and AF signal strength, and battery status. Adjustable RF and AF gain controls allow precise system optimization. Balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch outputs provide flexible connectivity to mixing consoles, powered speakers, and installed PA systems.

VX5 Supercardioid Condenser for Studio-Quality Stage Sound

The VX5 capsule is a professional vocal condenser microphone engineered to deliver smooth, accurate response in live and broadcast settings. Its supercardioid polar pattern tightly focuses on the performer while reducing off-axis stage noise and monitor bleed. With a frequency response of 40 Hz to 16.5 kHz and the ability to handle sound pressure levels exceeding 140 dB, the VX5 maintains detail and intelligibility even during powerful vocal performances. The result is a polished, studio-style sound in a wireless handheld format.

Rugged Handheld Transmitter with Extended Runtime

The H60 handheld transmitter features a durable metal housing designed for demanding stage use. Its slim, balanced body provides a comfortable grip for singers and speakers. A soft-touch mute switch doubles as an on and off control for silent transitions between performances. The integrated LCD shows frequency, group, channel, and battery status for quick reference. Powered by two AA batteries, the transmitter delivers up to 14 hours of operation. Selectable 10 or 30 mW RF output power and three adjustable gain settings support both small venues and larger performance spaces.

Expandable Wireless Platform for Multi-System Installations

With 64 MHz of transmitter bandwidth covering A and B frequency groups, the H60 integrates seamlessly with compatible Performance Series receivers. The modular capsule design allows easy swapping between condenser and dynamic capsules, giving users flexibility for different vocal styles and applications. When coordinated properly, up to 16 systems can operate simultaneously, making the AP41VX5B suitable for multi-mic events, touring productions, corporate AV, and rental inventories.

Tour-Ready Accessories and Installation Hardware

The R41 receiver includes detachable antennas, rackmount hardware, audio cable, power supply, and carrying case for convenient transport and setup. A ground-lift switch helps reduce hum caused by ground loops in complex audio systems. The handheld microphone includes a dent-resistant steel grille, mic clip, and storage pouch, ensuring long-term durability in live sound and installed audio environments.
