The unit includes a Digital I/O card that supports eight channels of AES/EBU, eight channels of TDIF, or eight channels of ADAT optical Lightpipe. Only one digital format is active at a time, but switching between them is seamless. Additionally, two dedicated AES/EBU channels and S/PDIF I/O on the chassis allow for common digital connections without using card slots.
