Compact IP Broadcast Console for Space Limited Studios
The Axia RAQ IP Console is a six-fader broadcast mixing surface designed for situations where space is limited but professional control is still required. It provides a physical console interface for live production, voice tracking, news booths, and auxiliary studios, delivering hands-on mixing control while integrating seamlessly into Axia Audio over IP environments.
Six Rotary Faders with OLED Displays for Precise Control
RAQ features six smooth, high-accuracy rotary faders, each paired with an OLED channel display that clearly shows source names and operational status. These tactile controls allow operators to make fast, confident adjustments during live broadcasts, while push-on and push-off channel switching keeps operation intuitive and efficient in high-pressure environments.
Professional Mixing Buses and Monitoring Capabilities
This IP console includes two stereo program buses along with a dedicated preview bus for cueing sources before they go live. A high-resolution OLED meter display provides visual feedback with selectable VU or PPM metering styles, while built-in monitor and headphone controls allow auditioning of program outputs or external monitor sources without additional hardware.
Broadcast Automation Features for Live and Assisted Operation
RAQ supports automatic mix-minus on every channel, making it well suited for phone callers, codecs, and remote contributors. Built-in automixing and Show Profile functionality allow instant recall of up to four predefined console snapshots, helping stations standardize workflows and reduce operator error during shifts and format changes.
Industrial Construction for Long Term Studio Reliability
The console is built with aircraft-grade switches featuring LED illumination for clear visibility, even in low-light studios. Its anodized aluminum work surface uses etched markings that resist wear, ensuring labels remain readable after years of daily use. This rugged design supports continuous operation in professional broadcast facilities.
Flexible Deployment in Standalone or Networked Systems
RAQ can be installed as a standalone console when paired with a compatible Axia integrated console engine, or it can operate as part of a larger Axia network. This flexibility allows broadcasters to expand studios incrementally while maintaining consistent control surfaces across their facility.
