The Axia 2001-00568-999 Quasar MTS-MON Module is an individually packaged, field-installable Master TouchScreen and Monitor module that serves as the required control core for all Quasar family AoIP broadcast consoles. This module is the primary interface that allows operators and engineers to interact with the console, manage workflows, and control system-wide functions with speed and precision.
Required Brain and Heart of the Quasar System
Every Quasar XR or SR console requires one MTS-MON module to operate. It functions as the central command point, coordinating fader modules, SmartKey modules, and system layers into a unified control experience. Without this module, the console cannot function, making it a foundational component of any Quasar installation or expansion.
Integrated Touchscreen and Encoder Control
At the center of the module is a 12.1-inch TFT IPS touchscreen that provides clear visual feedback and responsive touch control. The display works in tandem with seven touch-sensitive, high-resolution optical encoders, allowing precise adjustment of levels, parameters, and system settings. This combination supports fast, confident operation during live broadcasts and complex production sessions.
User-Configurable Buttons and Layer Management
The MTS-MON module includes support for up to four banks of eight touch-sensitive RGB user buttons, giving operators immediate access to frequently used commands and logic functions. Four dedicated layer buttons allow quick switching between console layers, making it easy to manage large channel counts and changing show requirements without slowing down workflow.
