Accessory Control Module for Axia Quasar Broadcast Consoles
The Axia 2001-00576-000 Accessory Module is a flexible control expansion designed for Axia Quasar broadcast console systems. It can be mounted directly into tabletops or turrets, giving studios a clean, professional way to add remote control and channel functionality exactly where operators or talent need it.
Dual Operating Modes for Studio and Channel Control
This accessory module supports two distinct operating modes, allowing it to adapt to different broadcast workflows. In Studio Guest Position mode, it functions as a talent-facing control surface. In Channel Strip mode, it becomes a fully functional remote channel strip that integrates seamlessly with your existing Axia console surface.
Guest Position Controls for Talent and Presenters
When configured for Studio Guest Position use, the module provides direct microphone on and off control, along with dedicated Mute and Talkback buttons. These controls allow on-air talent to manage their microphone state confidently without relying on an operator, making it ideal for radio studios, podcast rooms, and interview spaces.
Motorized Fader and Headphone Monitoring Control
The module includes a high-quality motorized fader that can be assigned to control any Quasar microphone channel. A rotary volume and selection knob allows users to choose their headphone monitor source, while the integrated display confirms the selected feed. This ensures accurate monitoring and precise level control in fast-paced broadcast environments.
Expandable Design with PoE Connectivity
Up to two Axia Accessory Modules can be daisy-chained on a single Power over Ethernet CAT-5 cable, reducing wiring complexity and simplifying installation. Power and data are delivered over the same network connection, making the module easy to deploy in both new builds and existing studios.
Compact Form Factor for Tabletop and Turret Mounting
Designed with space efficiency in mind, the module fits neatly into broadcast furniture with minimal depth requirements. Its compact footprint makes it well suited for talent desks, producer stations, and remote mounting locations where space is limited but functionality is critical.
