Direct PC Audio Integration with Livewire Networks
The Axia 3001-00058-100 IP-Audio Driver for Windows allows a Windows-based PC to send and receive digital audio directly over an Axia Livewire IP audio network. Instead of relying on traditional sound cards or analog cabling, this driver routes audio through the computer’s Ethernet connection to an Axia Audio Node such as a QOR.32, where IP-to-audio conversion is handled with broadcast-grade precision.
Designed for Professional Broadcast and Studio Environments
Built specifically for professional radio and audio production facilities, the IP-Audio Driver integrates seamlessly with Livewire-based systems. It enables software automation, playout systems, editing applications, and other PC-based audio tools to function as native networked audio sources and destinations within an Axia AoIP infrastructure.
Eight Channels of Networked Audio I/O
This OEM version of the driver supports up to eight inputs and eight outputs, providing flexible routing options for multiple audio streams. Each channel appears as a standard audio device within Windows, making it easy to assign inputs and outputs inside DAWs, automation software, and other broadcast applications without special configuration workarounds.
Offloading Audio Conversion to Dedicated Axia Hardware
By handling audio conversion at the Axia Audio Node rather than inside the PC, system stability and audio quality are improved. This architecture reduces CPU load on the computer and ensures consistent performance even in demanding, always-on broadcast environments where reliability is critical.
Optimized for Livewire AoIP Workflows
The driver is fully optimized for Livewire networks, allowing audio to be routed, shared, and managed using standard Axia routing tools. This makes it ideal for facilities that rely on centralized IP audio routing, shared resources, and scalable network-based studio designs.
OEM Licensing for Integrated Systems
As an OEM version, this driver is intended for system integrators and manufacturers who are building turnkey broadcast or production solutions. It provides the core functionality needed to integrate Windows PCs into Livewire systems while allowing the overall solution to be tailored to specific operational requirements.
