Enable One Remote Guest to Connect Directly to Altus
The Axia 3002-00105-000 Altus WebRTC Single Contribution Buyout allows a single remote contributor to send live audio directly into the Altus virtual console using a standard web browser. This software license creates one WebRTC source profile that functions as a live input channel inside Altus, making it easy to integrate off-site guests, hosts, or talent into broadcast and production workflows without requiring physical hardware.
Browser-Based Audio Input with No Software Installation
Once activated, this license generates a secure connection link for the remote contributor. The user simply opens the link in a compatible browser to establish an audio path into the Altus system. No apps, plug-ins, or downloads are required, which simplifies guest onboarding and reduces technical barriers during live interviews or scheduled contributions.
Single Active Contribution Session at a Time
This license permits one WebRTC connection to be active at any given time within the Altus virtual console. It is ideal for one-on-one interviews, guest call-ins, or single remote host scenarios. If your workflow requires multiple simultaneous contributors, additional licensing is required through the Altus WebRTC Multi Contribution option.
Beacon Server Required for WebRTC Connectivity
Operation of this license requires a Beacon server to manage WebRTC signaling between the contributor’s browser and the Altus instance. The Beacon server must be deployed on customer-provided infrastructure. Telos Alliance Professional Services is required to configure and validate the Beacon server to ensure proper performance, reliability, and security.
Designed for Remote Interviews and Distributed Studios
This license is well suited for radio stations, podcast networks, broadcast studios, and virtual production environments that rely on remote participation. It provides a controlled and reliable way to bring external voices into live or recorded content while keeping routing, mixing, and monitoring centralized within Altus.
Permanent Buyout License with Long-Term Value
The Altus WebRTC Single Contribution license is sold as a one-time buyout. Once installed and configured, it remains active without subscription renewals or recurring fees. This makes it a practical long-term solution for facilities that regularly host a single remote contributor.
