Enable Multiple Remote Audio Contributions with Altus WebRTC
The Axia 3002-00106-000 Altus WebRTC Multi Contribution License is a buyout upgrade that enables your Altus virtual console to accept multiple live audio sources from remote contributors through any WebRTC-capable browser. Designed for broadcasters working in distributed environments, this license unlocks the ability to create and manage multiple WebRTC source profiles, allowing remote hosts, guests, and talent to connect directly into your Altus mix environment from anywhere in the world.
Create Multiple WebRTC Source Profiles for Remote Inputs
With this license, you can generate two or more WebRTC source profiles within the Altus system. Each profile creates a secure audio contribution point that links a remote user’s browser to the Altus console instance. These profiles serve as individual input paths into your console, giving you full routing and control capabilities for each connected source.
Simple Web Browser Access for Remote Contributors
No apps, plug-ins, or software downloads are needed. Remote guests simply click a pre-configured URL link and connect to the Altus console using their browser. Once connected, their audio is routed directly into the virtual mixer using a secure WebRTC connection. This reduces the friction of onboarding guests or off-site talent and streamlines remote production workflows.
Beacon Server Required for Secure Connection Handling
To support the WebRTC communication pathway, this license requires the setup of a Beacon server, which acts as the signaling bridge between browser-based contributors and the Altus console. Telos Alliance Professional Services is required for the setup and configuration of the Beacon server. The server must be hosted by the customer and is not included with the license.
Designed for Remote Broadcasts, Live Events, and Guest Interviews
This license is ideal for radio shows, podcast producers, newsrooms, and live broadcasters needing clean, direct audio from multiple remote locations. From scheduled call-ins to spontaneous remote interactions, the Altus WebRTC Multi Contribution license turns the virtual console into a powerful hub for remote content creation and live integration.
Buyout Licensing for One-Time Purchase and Ownership
This product is offered as a one-time buyout license, meaning there are no ongoing subscription fees to maintain WebRTC contribution functionality. Once activated and configured, your Altus system is permanently enabled to support multiple simultaneous WebRTC inputs, providing long-term value for operations that rely on frequent remote contributions.
Seamless Integration with the Altus Virtual Console Platform
This license is built specifically for the Axia Altus platform, allowing you to expand its capabilities without additional hardware. It works alongside existing fader licenses and console configurations, enhancing the overall utility of your virtual production environment. Combined with other Altus features like browser-based mixing, virtual snapshots, and mix-minus, this license completes a professional remote-ready studio system.
