Virtual Console Foundation for Modern Broadcast Workflows
The Axia 3002-00114-801 Altus Base License is a one-year subscription that provides the core functionality required to operate an Altus virtual mixing console. This base license activates four operational faders and serves as the foundation for building a fully featured, software-based broadcast console designed for radio studios, production rooms, and remote workflows.
Container-Based Architecture for Flexible Deployment
Altus is deployed as a virtual console running inside a containerized environment, making it well suited for modern IP-based broadcast infrastructures. This design allows the console to run on standard server hardware while integrating seamlessly with Audio over IP networks, giving facilities the flexibility to deploy, scale, and manage mixing resources without dedicated physical control surfaces.
Comprehensive Bus Structure for On-Air and Production Use
The Altus base license includes three dedicated stereo Program buses along with an additional stereo Utility bus. This Utility bus can be assigned for phone calls, off-air recording, or configured as an additional Program bus, giving operators multiple routing options to support live broadcasts, recording sessions, and hybrid production scenarios.
Built-In Mix-Minus and Advanced Operator Tools
Each fader in Altus includes automatic mix-minus functionality, simplifying call-in shows and remote contributor management. Integrated talkback functions, Record Mode, and Automixing tools support efficient on-air operation, while Show Profile functionality allows instant recall of up to 26 predefined console snapshots for fast format changes and consistent sound.
Monitoring and Auxiliary Mixing Capabilities
Altus includes full Studio and Control Room monitor control, providing clear oversight of on-air and off-air audio paths. The system also comes equipped with eight virtual auxiliary mixers, allowing flexible headphone feeds, submixes, or routing for additional production needs without external hardware.
Professional Deployment and Ongoing Support Coverage
When purchasing the subscription version of the Altus Base License, Telos Alliance Professional Services is required to assist with system planning and deployment. This ensures proper configuration and reliable operation from day one. As with all subscription-based licenses, TelosCare PLUS support is included, providing access to updates and technical assistance throughout the subscription term.
