In addition to its robust network connections, the FWD8000 offers four mirrored four-wire inputs and outputs on the rear for local analogue use, as well as two IFB inputs. This versatility allows for seamless integration in various professional audio setups, from broadcasting to live events.

Dante Breakout Box Capabilities
With the new version 3 firmware, the FWD8000 introduces the ability to use its analogue inputs and outputs as a Dante breakout box. This feature includes three assignable inputs and outputs, all selectable via Dante Controller. They can be assigned to analogue versions of any Dante inputs or outputs, offering unparalleled flexibility in audio routing.

User-Friendly Operational Adjustments
Operational adjustments on the FWD8000 are straightforward, thanks to the version 3 firmware incorporating an internal web server. This user-friendly interface ensures that managing and adjusting settings is simple and efficient, even in complex audio setups.

Flexible Power Options and Channel Features
The unit can be powered by PoE, an external 12-volt supply or battery, or via the IEC mains inlet, providing flexibility in various working conditions. Each channel includes a cut switch, an IFB monitor button, and a vox incoming audio present indicator. The talk keys offer momentary operation or latching, with the option to defeat the latch if needed.

Enhanced Communication and Network Features
The 'all talk' key can be set to communicate with any or all of the four-wire outputs, and the microphone cut button helps prevent feedback. The unit includes two 3:1 and one 2:1 network mixers. Additionally, the FWD8000 has a secondary Ethernet interface for switch output or network redundancy.
