Active Loop-Through and Pass-Through Monitoring Capabilities
Each of the six SDI inputs features an active loop-through output, allowing you to maintain a direct signal path to other gear while still feeding into the multiviewer. The DMON-6S supports full pass-through mode for selecting any one of the six SDI sources to be output through both the SDI and HDMI outputs, perfect for routing selected content to program feeds or external monitors. This provides both preview and real-time operational versatility across broadcast workflows.

Custom and Preset Layouts for Flexible Multiview Display
The unit comes with standard multiview layouts and also allows for complete customization. Each of the six input windows can be independently arranged, with unique sizing, positioning, and overlay features including safe title, safe action, and center cross. Whether you're monitoring cameras, playback feeds, or remote signals, having the ability to configure your multiview layout exactly to your needs is a major time-saver in fast-paced environments.

Integrated Overlays for Audio and Tally Management
Audio monitoring is just as powerful, with support for 16-channel audio metering overlays on each window. These overlays are fully adjustable for position and visibility, allowing precise monitoring of embedded SDI audio. Tally boxes with four-color support (red, green, blue, yellow) can be displayed per window and driven via GPI or RS-422/485 using the TSL protocol. Under Monitor Display (UMD) overlays are also supported with 16-character labeling for efficient input labeling during live operations.

Support for Mixed Formats and Frame Rates
The DMON-6S is designed to display feeds from inputs with differing formats and frame rates at the same time. This means you can view 3G, HD, or SD signals all within one multiview layout, with full format auto-detection on all six SDI inputs. You can also assign different aspect ratios per quadrant, ensuring content is displayed exactly as required without compromise.

Hardware Control with Onboard Menu and LCD Display
The unit features an integrated LCD screen and button interface for all settings and layout configurations, eliminating the need for computer-based setup or DIP switch toggling. This makes the DMON-6S highly mobile and reliable for quick deployment, especially when used on location. Firmware updates and layout saves/loads are supported via USB.

Professional I/O and Rugged Design for Reliability
Housed in a sturdy aluminum chassis with a locking threaded power connector, the DMON-6S is designed for durability in the field. A 37-pin D-SUB connector provides access to 32 GPI inputs for tallies and remote switching, as well as RS-422/485 control for dynamic UMD and tally integration. The linked HDMI and SDI outputs make it easy to route content to both legacy and modern displays simultaneously.
