The Eartec XT-6AU Comstar System is a professional six-user full duplex wireless intercom designed for crews that need seamless voice communication while keeping their hands free. The setup includes a Com-Center base station and six all-in-one wireless headsets—no beltpack radios required. This configuration allows up to eight users to talk simultaneously without push-to-talk delays or voice activation lag, making it an ideal solution for coordinating production, logistics, events, and more.

Long-Range Coverage With Up to 800-Yard Reach
Each wireless headset in the system connects to the Com-Center base station at a range of up to 400 yards in any direction. This means team members can communicate clearly from opposite ends of a job site—up to 800 yards apart—without dropouts. The system operates in the 1900 MHz frequency range reserved for PCS voice communication, ensuring clear, interference-free transmission.

Ergonomic Headset Design for Comfortable All-Day Use
The XT-6AU system includes six COMSTAR all-in-one headsets with built-in transceivers inside each ear cup. These headsets are lightweight, feature padded headbands and around-ear cushions, and are designed for comfort during extended use. Each headset includes a flexible boom microphone with a windscreen to reduce background noise and ensure voice clarity in demanding environments.

Flexible Power Options and Included Charging Station
Each headset runs on a rechargeable lithium battery with up to 10 hours of talk time. The Com-Center base also includes an internal battery that lasts up to 6 hours, plus it can be powered by AC or an optional AA battery sled for added convenience. The system includes a multi-port desktop charger, allowing simultaneous charging of all headset and base station batteries.

Group Communication and Conference Mode Support
Users can split into two independent groups of up to four people each, or all users can communicate on the same channel in conference mode. This flexibility allows the system to support a wide range of team configurations in dynamic environments, whether you're managing separate tasks or working as a single coordinated unit.
