Operating in the 1900 MHz DECT frequency band reserved by the FCC for voice, the Comstar system offers dependable, full duplex wireless coverage up to 400 yards in any direction from the base. Teams can be spaced up to 800 yards apart and still maintain uninterrupted communication, making it ideal for AV crews, broadcast teams, event staff, and industrial sites. No FCC license is required to use the system in the U.S., Canada, Europe, or Australia.

The XT Series Com-Center offers two separate communication channels that can be used independently or linked into a single conference mode. This flexibility enables two smaller teams to coordinate independently or merge into one group when needed. LED indicators clearly show channel status, and setup is instant—no antennae, tuning, or software configuration is necessary.

Comfortable All-in-One Wireless Headsets Built for Long Shifts
The included COMSTAR headsets are lightweight (just 12 oz.), rugged, and designed for comfort during extended use. Each headset has integrated volume and mic controls, a pivoting boom arm that can be adjusted for left or right side use, and operates on lithium-ion batteries with up to 10 hours of continuous use. The system includes four single-ear headsets for users who need environmental awareness and three double-ear headsets for full-focus applications.

Self-Contained and Portable for On-Location Use
The Com-Center base is completely portable and powered by either the included AC wall adapter, a rechargeable battery with 6-hour runtime, or a disposable AA battery sled for backup.
