Complete and Ready for Installation
The CIS400 is shipped fully assembled, ready for immediate installation. It includes a sealed zinc-coated steel backcan and cam-style installation clamps, simplifying the setup process. The metal enclosure features a recessed Euroblock input connector with a detachable mating plug, hidden behind a hinged metal cover plate for a clean, professional appearance. A welded tab is included for seismic restraint, ensuring safety and stability. Additionally, two steel T-Bar support channels and a steel split C-ring are provided to facilitate installation on standard tile ceilings and to distribute clamping pressure evenly.

Versatile Power and Impedance Options
This speaker assembly is equipped with an integral 70/100V line transformer rated for up to 30 watts, with adjustable power settings via a recessed rotary switch on the front bezel. You can select from 30, 15, 7.5, and 3.7 watt taps to suit various installation requirements. Another recessed rotary switch allows engagement of a 16-Ohm tap for low-impedance amplifiers or a 150 Hz high-pass filter, offering flexibility for different audio setups and applications.

Durable and Protective Design
To protect the internal components during installation, the CIS400 is shipped with a detachable plastic cover fitted over the transducers. This cover also doubles as a paint shield, enabling easy spray painting to match any interior décor. Once the tap selector and high-pass switches are set, a powder-coated perforated steel grille can be quickly installed, providing a sleek and durable finish.
