The EAW MK8126i WHITE is a passive 2-way installation loudspeaker built to outperform traditional compact two-way systems, even while occupying less physical space. Designed for demanding permanent installations in theaters, clubs, houses of worship, and multi-zone commercial spaces, the MK8126i delivers clear, articulate sound with consistent coverage across its 120° x 60° dispersion field. This loudspeaker features an 8-inch low-frequency driver paired with a 1-inch exit, 1.5-inch voice coil compression driver mounted on a custom constant directivity horn that extends pattern control deeper into the midrange.

Horn design for consistent off-axis response
Unlike typical compact systems, the MK8126i uses a significantly larger HF horn that precisely overlaps the woofer’s pattern in the crossover region. This eliminates common beamwidth mismatches that create off-axis dead zones, providing more uniform sound throughout the listening space. Whether mounted horizontally or vertically, the user-rotatable horn maintains a consistent dispersion pattern, ensuring sonic accuracy and intelligibility in any orientation.

Advanced crossover network with beamwidth matching
At the heart of the MK8126i is a complex internal passive crossover network that does more than divide frequencies. It applies asymmetrical filters to optimize integration between the drivers while also performing essential equalization functions. This beamwidth-matched crossover point allows a seamless transition between the LF and HF drivers, ensuring the speaker maintains coherent phase and frequency response across its entire operating range of 65Hz to 19kHz.

It features a durable Baltic birch enclosure finished in textured white paint for visual sensitivity in architecturally demanding spaces. The included U-bracket simplifies wall and ceiling mounting, and the rotatable horn ensures consistent directivity regardless of orientation.
