The EAW MKD1296 WHITE is a 1200W passive 2-way installation loudspeaker designed to deliver full-range, high-output sound in both large and acoustically complex environments. With dual 12-inch low-frequency cone transducers and two high-frequency compression drivers, this system provides powerful low end, accurate midrange, and smooth highs. Drawing from EAW’s flagship QX series, the MKD1296 incorporates beamwidth-matched crossover technology, enabling its low-frequency drivers to operate an octave lower than traditional designs. This improves bass performance while ensuring seamless integration between the low, mid, and high-frequency elements. A large-format rotatable horn, centered between the two 12-inch LF drivers, offers consistent 90° x 60° coverage. This setup ensures even horizontal and vertical dispersion across wide listening zones, improving speech intelligibility and musical detail.

With an operating range of 47 Hz to 20 kHz and a calculated axial sensitivity of 93 dB, the MKD1296 WHITE delivers detailed sound reproduction across the full frequency spectrum. This speaker also supports both passive and bi-amp operation, providing integrators with more control over system tuning. The curved front panel and white painted finish make the MKD1296 WHITE visually discreet for use in theaters, houses of worship, and corporate venues.
