The EAW MicroWedge MW8 is a cutting-edge stage monitor designed through a collaboration between Dave "Rat" Levine, the original inventor of the MicroWedge Series, and the EAW Engineering Department. This partnership has produced a stage monitor that not only delivers exceptional audio performance but also offers unparalleled ergonomics. The MW8 is equipped with an 8-inch woofer and a 1.75-inch voice-coil compression driver, utilizing a coaxial design that ensures all frequencies are projected from the same point. This eliminates crossover issues and time/phase irregularities, resulting in a highly coherent and controlled 90-degree conical dispersion that suits any stage setup.

Versatile Design for Multiple Applications
The MW8’s versatility extends beyond its role as a stage monitor. Its compact, low-profile design makes it equally effective as a console bridge monitor. Thanks to its balanced design, the MW8 can rest securely on its backside, fitting snugly on either side of a console bridge. Dual NL4 connectors are conveniently located within the cabinet's front port, making setup quick and straightforward. Additionally, for applications requiring elevated placement, an optional pole mount is available, enhancing the MW8’s flexibility in different performance environments.

The MW8 features a front-ported design that significantly enhances low-frequency response by coupling with the floor.
