Efficient Installation with EZ-Install System

This model features Electro-Voice’s EZ-Install system, streamlining the setup process for both speed and safety. With the included tile bridge and mounting ring, the speaker can be securely suspended in drop ceilings using mineral wool or fiber-based tiles. The low-profile enclosure allows installation in tight spaces without compromising on structural stability or sound quality.

Versatile Power Taps and Impedance Options

The EVID-C6.2-G2 offers selectable wattage taps of 1.9 (70-V only), 3.8, 7.5, 15, or 30 watts, making it adaptable to both 70-V and 100-V distributed audio systems, as well as an 8-ohm bypass for direct connection to low-impedance amplifiers. The front baffle includes a convenient switch for wattage selection, ensuring easy adjustments without removing the speaker from the ceiling.

Rugged Build with Professional Aesthetics

Constructed from UL 94V-0 rated ABS for the baffle and heavy-gauge coated steel for the rear enclosure, this speaker is built for durability in demanding environments. The semi-gloss white powder-coated grille provides a clean, modern look that blends seamlessly into most ceilings while maintaining long-term resistance to wear.

System Integration with EVID Product Family

Designed to work cohesively with other Electro-Voice EVID models, the EVID-C6.2-G2 can be part of a unified audio system for complete coverage in various ceiling constructions. Integrators can mix and match EVID ceiling, surface-mount, and in-wall speakers for consistent audio performance across an entire venue.
