Broadcast-Ready 15-Inch Teleprompter for Professional Productions
The Ikan PT415W is a widescreen 15-inch teleprompter system built for studio and broadcast environments requiring reliable, easy-to-read on-camera script display. Designed to work with a wide range of camera types—from cinema cameras to DSLRs—this prompter features 65/35 beamsplitter glass, full HD resolution, SDI input, and tally light integration for live production cues. Its improved base design makes balancing quick and simple, while the versatile monitor ensures optimal readability in any lighting condition.
Full HD Widescreen Monitor with SDI, HDMI, and VGA Inputs
The teleprompter’s 15" display offers a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and supports SDI, HDMI, and VGA connections, making it compatible with modern broadcast systems and traditional workflows alike. A brightness level of 1000 cd/m² ensures high visibility even under studio lighting, while the wide 178° viewing angle allows on-camera talent to see the script from virtually any position. The display supports aspect ratios including 16:9, 4:3, full, and auto for flexible integration.
Precision 65/35 Beamsplitter Glass for Clear Script Reflection
This system features a 65/35 beamsplitter glass panel that provides a crisp, mirror-like script view for the presenter while maintaining a clean, neutral image for the camera. The front-coated mirror reflects 35% of the image while transmitting 65% of light to the lens. An anti-reflective rear coating prevents ghosting, ensuring minimal visual distraction and optimal camera capture.
Versatile Camera Support with Multiple Riser Options
Included are three riser plates designed to support cameras of different heights, including DSLRs, cinema cameras, and ENG-style camcorders. The tall riser measures 5.31", the short riser is 2.06", and the DSLR riser provides a 6.29" lift. These mounting bases allow you to center your camera with the beamsplitter glass for accurate framing and eye contact, regardless of gear size or style.
Dual Tally Lights Provide Live Status Indicators
Two integrated tally lights—one on the front and one on the side—automatically change color based on the feed status when connected to a compatible video switcher. This provides immediate visual cues for presenters, letting them know when their camera is live, helping reduce mistakes during multi-camera productions or broadcasts.
Tool-Free Balancing with Adjustable Sliding Base
The improved base on the PT415W includes a rail system that lets you slide the monitor and camera forward or backward for proper balance without requiring counterweights. This simplifies the setup process and makes adjustments quick and tool-free, saving time during tight production schedules.
Redesigned Lens Hood with Magnetic Fastening for Stability
The adjustable lens hood has been reengineered with a wider opening to support larger lenses and is now anchored directly to the prompter frame using magnets and bolts. This setup adds rigidity and reduces shifting during use, especially helpful when moving the unit between shoots or mounting on different tripods or pedestals.
