65/35 Beam Splitter Glass for Crisp Script Visibility

At the heart of the teleprompter is a 0.12" thick, American-made optical-grade beamsplitter glass with a 65/35 transmission-to-reflection ratio. The front is coated to reflect clear text to the talent, while the rear features anti-reflective treatment to eliminate ghosting and color distortion. This ensures that your presenter sees the text clearly, while your camera captures an undistorted image through the glass. It’s ideal for interviews, training videos, livestreams, and multi-camera studio productions.

Full HD Widescreen Monitor with Broad Input Support

The included 15" display delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution and 1000 nits of brightness for excellent visibility in well-lit studios. It supports SDI, HDMI, and VGA video inputs for compatibility with various devices and switchers. The 16:9 native aspect ratio can be adjusted to 4:3, full, or automatic detection as needed. Dual tally lights on the monitor illuminate red or green to indicate live or preview status when connected to a compatible video switcher. The built-in image flip button allows for quick horizontal and vertical orientation changes, ideal for mirrored or inverted mounting setups.

Multiple Riser Options for Wide Camera Compatibility

Three different camera riser plates are included to match your camera’s optical center with the teleprompter glass. The tall riser (5.31"), short riser (2.06"), and DSLR riser (6.29") provide flexibility when using cinema cameras, ENG-style bodies, or compact mirrorless models. This makes the system ideal for production teams that switch between different camera formats or need to travel light without sacrificing setup precision.

Improved Balancing System for Quick Setup

The base of the PT415W-TK includes a long rail that allows the monitor and glass assembly to slide forward or backward along the support rods. This enables you to balance the system quickly and easily—no counterweights required. With mounting threads for standard tripod and pedestal heads, the system stays stable even during longer shoots or camera repositioning.

Adjustable Lens Hood Accommodates Larger Lenses

The redesigned lens hood anchors directly to the teleprompter frame and is secured with both bolts and magnets. Its wider opening is built to work with larger-diameter lenses without interfering with visibility or introducing light leaks. The included hard travel case is built in the USA from injection-molded polypropylene copolymer resin and meets military-grade durability standards. It features built-in wheels, an extendable pull handle, and a pressure equalization valve for safe air travel. Molded-in hinges, lockable trigger-release latches, and stainless-steel hardware provide secure storage. The case is IP67-rated for water and dust resistance and is designed to fit the original foam packaging of the PT415W for snug protection.
