The Ikan PT419W-PTZ-PEDESTAL is a complete professional teleprompter solution designed for PTZ camera integration in live broadcast studios, corporate productions, and streaming environments. It includes a 19" widescreen high-bright monitor, a fully enclosed PTZ-compatible hood, a pneumatic pedestal with fluid head, and a dolly for mobility. The system supports HDMI, VGA, and SDI video input and accommodates camera payloads up to 20.6 lb. It’s built to ensure smooth, flexible motion while maintaining script visibility and eye contact with the audience.

Fully Enclosed PTZ Hood Maintains Camera Freedom

The included PTZ teleprompter hood is lightweight and fully surrounds the PTZ camera, allowing pan, tilt, and zoom operation without obstruction. The rear hood opening allows access to cables and controls and can be closed using a drawstring to prevent light leaks. This setup is compatible with PTZ camera models from major manufacturers, supporting uninterrupted movement for dynamic, multi-subject shots or live event scenarios.

Bright Widescreen Monitor Supports Multiple Video Inputs

The 19" widescreen monitor features a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a brightness rating of 1000 cd/m². It supports SDI, HDMI, and VGA video signals and includes built-in tally lights for on-air indicators. The display is readable from up to 25 feet away and supports aspect ratio adjustments (16:9, 4:3, full, or auto detect). An image flip button enables vertical and horizontal flipping, making it adaptable for different setups and ideal for mirrored presentation needs.

Optical-Grade Beam Splitter Glass for Script Visibility

The proprietary 65/35 beam splitter glass reflects 35% of the monitor image to the presenter while allowing 65% of light to pass through to the lens. It includes a mirror coating on the front and anti-reflective coating on the back to reduce ghosting and preserve image quality. Angled at 55 degrees, the glass also widens the camera’s field of view, allowing greater flexibility for pan and zoom camera operations during live recordings or conferences.

Wide Viewing Angle Enhances Presenter Experience

With a 178° viewing angle, the teleprompter monitor ensures readability from various angles—especially important for interviews, panel discussions, and video conferencing where speakers may not always be centered. This flexibility allows for natural engagement and uninterrupted delivery, even when movement or camera shifts are required during live production.

Easy Balancing with Long Plate Rail System

The PT419W-PTZ-PEDESTAL includes a rail system that allows the baseplate to move forward and backward, making it simple to balance the full setup regardless of camera size or lens weight. The system supports payloads up to 20.6 pounds, eliminating the need for external counterweights and reducing time spent on rig adjustment.

Studio-Ready Pedestal and Dolly for Smooth Mobility

The kit includes a pneumatic pedestal tripod with adjustable height and a fluid head that ensures precise camera control. The dolly adds smooth mobility and features cable guards to prevent tangling. Two carrying bags are included—one for the pedestal and one for the dolly—making transport and setup fast and secure for both mobile and in-studio use.
