The Lectrosonics IFBR1B is a compact, belt-pack UHF IFB (Interruptible Foldback) receiver designed for talent cueing and crew communication in broadcast and motion picture production. It offers simplicity and flexibility in a package that is intuitive for untrained users to operate. Despite its tiny size, the IFBR1B receiver delivers excellent performance on par with all of Lectrosonics’ IFB products.

Rugged Design for Demanding Environments

Housed in a rugged machined aluminum package, the IFBR1B is built to withstand the rigors of professional use. A wire belt clip is included, providing secure mounting on a wide variety of belts, pockets, and fabrics. An optional clamp-style spring-loaded belt clip is also available for added versatility.

Long-Lasting Power with Rechargeable Battery

The IFBR1B is powered for over 8 hours by a removable, rechargeable LB-50 lithium-ion battery. The battery can be dock charged without removing it from the unit using the optional CHSIFBR1B charging station. Note that the IFBR1B does not ship standard with a single battery charger; it can be ordered as a kit with a charger.

User-Friendly Interface with Preset Memory

The receiver features an LCD interface for programming and operation, allowing users to store up to 10 frequency presets in memory. This makes it easy to switch between different channels as needed during production. The interface is designed to be intuitive, even for users without technical training.

High Sensitivity for Extended Operating Range

With high sensitivity for extended operating range indoors or outdoors, the IFBR1B ensures reliable performance in various environments. The headphone cable doubles as the receiving antenna, and the unit can drive a wide variety of earbuds, headphones, and induction neck loops at substantial levels.

Inside the battery door is a USB port for firmware updates in the field, ensuring that the IFBR1B can stay up-to-date with the latest features and improvements. The receiver also includes a multicolor LED indicator for power and battery status, providing visual cues for easy monitoring.
