The Lectrosonics Venue 2 VRM2WBL is a six-channel modular wireless receiver system designed to handle the challenges of congested RF environments. Operating across bands A1, B1, B2, and C1 (470.100 to 691.175 MHz), it offers flexibility and reliability for professional audio applications. Its modular design allows customization with up to six receiver modules, making it suitable for live performances, broadcast, and theater productions.

Advanced Diversity Reception for Reliable Signal Integrity

The Venue 2 employs advanced diversity reception techniques, including ratio and antenna phase diversity, to ensure consistent signal quality. These methods reduce dropouts and interference, providing stable audio transmission even in challenging RF conditions. The built-in antenna multicoupler with loop-through output allows multiple Venue 2 systems to share a single pair of antennas, simplifying setup and reducing equipment needs.

Digital Hybrid Wireless Technology for Pristine Audio Quality

Utilizing Lectrosonics' Digital Hybrid Wireless technology, the Venue 2 combines digital audio processing with an analog FM transmission, eliminating compandor artifacts and delivering a flat frequency response up to 20 kHz. This approach ensures high-fidelity audio suitable for critical listening environments. The system also supports DSP emulation modes for compatibility with analog wireless systems.

Comprehensive Control and Monitoring Capabilities

The Venue 2 features a high-resolution graphical LCD for system setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting. It displays RF and audio levels, diversity status, pilot tone status, and transmitter battery status for all six receivers simultaneously. The included Wireless Designer software provides an intuitive interface for configuration and control via Ethernet, USB, or RS-232 connections.

Flexible Frequency Tuning and Smart Features

With a tuning range covering three frequency blocks and up to 3072 synthesized UHF frequencies per receiver module, the Venue 2 offers extensive frequency selection. Selectable tuning steps of 100 kHz or 25 kHz allow precise frequency coordination. The SmartTune feature automatically scans for clear frequencies, streamlining setup in complex RF environments.

Robust Construction and User-Friendly Design

Housed in a 1RU rackmount chassis, the Venue 2 is built for durability and ease of integration into professional audio systems. The modular receiver slots are easily accessible, allowing quick installation or replacement without tools.
