The Nixer RL64 Dante is a 1U rack-mounted audio-over-IP monitor and mixer designed for professionals needing accurate, flexible monitoring in Dante network environments. It supports up to 64 input channels at 48kHz (or 32 at 96kHz), giving users the power to configure and control critical audio paths within high-performance broadcast, studio, or live production setups. Versatile Dual Operation for Flexible Monitoring

This unit offers two operational modes to fit different workflows. In mixing mode, users can route and blend any combination of the 64 input channels into a stereo mix, controlling level, pan, and pre-fade listen (PFL) for each channel. Listen mode allows users to instantly solo a single input to the output by tapping the screen, a major benefit in troubleshooting or active monitoring during live production scenarios.

Integrated Audio Outputs for Direct Monitoring

The RL64 Dante features full-range internal speakers driven by dual 2W amplifiers for reliable standalone monitoring. A front-panel headphone jack with auto-mute for the speakers provides discrete listening. For expanded audio routing, it includes stereo balanced XLR line outputs and a digital AES3 output, making it easy to send mixes to external recording, broadcast, or amplification systems.

Intuitive Touchscreen Interface with Gesture Control

The large 6.6" color LCD provides a responsive multi-touch interface, streamlining all aspects of navigation, channel metering, and output management. With high-resolution visibility and capacitive gesture support, the RL64 ensures users can quickly manage complex patching or isolate audio channels without the hassle of external software or laptops.

Network Connectivity and Power Redundancy for Reliability

The unit supports dual 1Gbps Dante AoIP ports with redundant or switched operation, ensuring stability and flexibility in professional networks. For power, it offers PoE compatibility and an additional 24V DC input with a screw-lock connector, giving users the redundancy needed in mission-critical applications. It can operate from either source or both simultaneously, reducing downtime risks in sensitive environments.

Compatibility with AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110 Standards
