Powerful Dante Patch Panel with Built-In EQ Control
The Nixer RP64 Dante EQ is a professional-grade 64x64 Audio over IP patch unit designed for critical signal routing across Dante networks. Built on Nixer’s advanced audio processing platform, this 1U rack-mounted patch panel makes it fast and easy to reroute audio without relying on external computers or Dante Controller software. The interface allows users to connect any input to any output—or one input to many outputs—with near-instant switching. Each input also includes a three-band EQ, limiter, and level control for precise audio shaping on the fly.
EQ and Signal Processing on Every Input Channel
Unlike standard patch units that only handle routing, the RP64 Dante EQ offers full signal processing per channel. Each input can be independently adjusted using the built-in three-band equalizer, allowing users to shape their audio in real-time without additional gear. This integrated processing suite includes level control and limiting, giving you full control over gain structure and audio integrity before routing signals through your Dante network.
No External Software or Laptops Required
Engineers working in broadcast, live sound, and installed systems environments will appreciate the RP64’s self-contained design. With a large, full-color touchscreen on the front panel, users can easily manage routing and recall configurations directly from the unit. This standalone functionality eliminates delays caused by booting up laptops or launching patch software, streamlining the entire signal management workflow.
Built for Redundancy and Reliability
To ensure stable operation in mission-critical settings, the RP64 offers dual power input options: Power over Ethernet (PoE) through the primary RJ45 port or 24V DC via a locking connector. Both power inputs can be used simultaneously for redundancy. Dual Dante network ports are also included, allowing for either redundant or switched audio network configurations depending on system design requirements.
Flexible Network and Control Integration
In addition to dual Dante ports, the RP64 includes a dedicated control RJ45 port for OSC (Open Sound Control) integration and a separate RJ45 port for connecting optional hardware remote controllers. This makes the RP64 adaptable for integration into control rooms, OB vans, and venue installations where remote operation is required. Firmware updates can be applied via the USB port located on the front panel.
Compact 1U Format for Versatile Deployment
At just under 120mm deep and weighing approximately 1kg, the RP64 Dante EQ is ideal for rackmount or desktop use. Its slim profile fits easily into flypacks, control desks, or standard rack installations. The unit is shipped with removable rack ears, giving installers the flexibility to adapt the form factor to the application.
