Compact Passive Reamping Device for Home and Project Studios
The Radial Reamp HP is a compact passive reamping device designed to send recorded tracks from your audio interface’s headphone output back through guitar amps and effect pedals. It allows you to take a previously recorded DI track, playback stem, or even a full mix and reprocess it through outboard gear without repatching your studio. Built for small-format and home studios, this reamp box simplifies signal routing while maintaining clean, low-noise performance.
Reamp Directly from Your Headphone Output
Unlike traditional reamp boxes that require dedicated line outputs, the Reamp HP connects directly to the headphone jack on your interface or mixer. A 1/4" TRS stereo input accepts standard headphone outputs from audio interfaces, mixers, and keyboards. There is also a 3.5mm TRS input for smartphones, tablets, and laptops, making it easy to experiment with mobile apps and playback devices. This design makes reamping accessible without reconfiguring your entire studio setup.
High-Impedance Output for Amps and Pedals
The unit features a 1/4" TS high-impedance mono output specifically designed to feed guitar amplifiers and pedal chains. A dedicated level control allows proper gain staging so you can match the signal to your amp input and avoid distortion or signal mismatch. Whether reamping guitar DI tracks, bass recordings, or synth lines, the output is optimized for instrument-level devices.
Transformer Isolation for Noise-Free Operation
A built-in isolation transformer helps prevent ground loops and unwanted hum when routing signals between your interface and amplifier. If additional noise reduction is needed, the ground-lift switch disconnects the audio ground path between input and output. This makes the Reamp HP well suited for studio environments where multiple devices are interconnected.
Mono Summing for Flexible Signal Routing
The mono switch allows stereo signals to be summed before hitting a mono guitar amplifier. This is especially useful when sending stereo tracks to a single amp or when additional output level is required. Summing both channels can provide a slight gain increase, helping drive pedals or amplifiers more effectively without altering the recorded performance.
Passive Design with No Power Required
The Reamp HP operates entirely passively and requires no batteries or external power supply. Its compact form factor fits easily into desktop setups, rack drawers, or gig bags. For producers, engineers, and guitarists exploring creative reamping techniques, this box provides a practical solution that integrates smoothly into any recording workflow.
