The BPH45G is pre-drilled for six 5/8-inch by 12-inch J-bolts (sold separately), which are embedded in the concrete pier. These bolts secure the base plate and allow the hinge to function during the tower tilt-up process. Refer to engineering specifications for proper installation depth and spacing when embedding bolts.
