The ROHN JRM27555 is a non-penetrating, ballast-style roof mount designed to support heavy-duty communication antennas without compromising the integrity of the roof. This model includes a two-piece, 10-foot galvanized steel mast with a 2-7/8" outer diameter, providing the strength and height needed for broadband, cellular, PCS, and surveillance applications. Built for flexibility and field performance, this mount is ideal for projects where roof penetration is not permitted.

Two-Piece Mast for Easier Handling and Transport
The 10' mast is split into two sections, making it easier to move through stairwells, elevators, and other tight access points. Once assembled, the mast reaches full height and offers the structural rigidity needed for larger antennas, thanks to its 0.203" wall thickness. The 2.88" diameter ensures compatibility with a variety of brackets and mounting accessories used in commercial wireless deployments.

Ballasted Base Design Preserves Roof Membranes
Instead of drilling or bolting into the roof, the JRM27555 uses up to 12 standard 16" concrete blocks (not included) as ballast to secure the steel frame. This method ensures the rooftop surface remains intact, protecting warranties and preventing water intrusion. It’s a smart choice for leased properties, commercial rooftops, or any site where non-invasive mounting is required.

Stable 5-Foot Square Base Withstands Harsh Conditions
The 5' x 5' base frame spreads the load evenly across the rooftop, providing increased wind resistance and minimizing stress on any one point. When properly ballasted, the frame stays securely in place, even in windy conditions. To protect roofing materials from abrasion or pressure, the system is compatible with ROHN’s optional JRMMAT (1/8") or JRMPAD (3/8"). These mats create a barrier between the base and the roof. For added security, especially in high-wind installations, the optional SCK150 safety cable kit (3/8" x 150') is available. The JRMMAT comes in four interlocking pieces, each 72" x 18", forming a 72" x 72" protective layer under the mount.
