Professional Audio Monitoring for Broadcast Applications
The RTW TMR7-OEM TouchMonitor is a rackmountable 7-inch audio analyzer designed for precise metering and monitoring in professional radio and broadcast environments. Built with a high-resolution 16:9 TFT touchscreen, it provides engineers with an intuitive interface for controlling and analyzing audio signals in real time. With flexible input and output connectivity, it integrates seamlessly into existing studio setups while delivering unmatched accuracy in loudness and peak metering.
Versatile Connectivity for Studio Integration
This OEM version of the TouchMonitor supports multiple connection formats, making it highly adaptable to different broadcast systems. Inputs and outputs include Ethernet, VGA, dual USB 2.0 ports, GPIO, and 24 VDC connectors, allowing engineers to connect a wide range of devices and expand functionality. The system also features a built-in 4-channel digital audio interface, offering two AES3 digital inputs (XLR-F) and two AES3 digital outputs (XLR-M) for streamlined monitoring and routing.
Flexible Metering Options for Precise Analysis
Designed to meet the needs of modern broadcasters, the TMR7 offers a broad range of metering tools. These include loudness, true peak, PPM, vectorscope, moving-coil instruments, RTA, and correlation analysis. With parallel monitoring of on-air signals and PFL sources, users can configure instruments for mono, stereo, or multichannel formats, ensuring complete flexibility in signal analysis across diverse workflows.
Customizable Screen Layout for Personalized Workflows
The graphical interface of the TMR7 TouchMonitor allows full customization of the metering layout. Instruments can be freely scaled and repositioned, giving engineers complete control over their workspace. Views, metering standards, and scaling can be independently defined for each signal source, while the on-screen help function provides support during setup, making it easy to adapt the system to specific studio requirements.
Optimized Hardware and Software for Broadcast Standards
The TMR7’s hardware and software are tailored to radio-broadcast environments, ensuring accurate and reliable metering. Standard software includes stereo PPM with analog scales (DIN +5, Nordic, British IIa, British IIb) and digital scales ranging from 0 to -60 dB, with options for TruePeak and quasi-standards. Additional built-in tools such as peak hold, phase correlation, gain reduction, and a global keyboard provide the precision required for compliance with broadcast standards.
Expandable System With Modular Software Options
RTW designed the TMR7 with scalability in mind. Its modular software platform allows easy upgrades and configuration, ensuring long-term flexibility for evolving studio needs. Engineers can expand capabilities through optional software modules, enabling advanced features while maintaining a future-ready investment.
