4-Channel True-Diversity Receiver with 169–1525 MHz Tuning, RTSA, AutoAssign, NexLink Remote Control, GainForward, and Expansion to 8 Channels via License
Features:
Portable Multichannel Receiver Built for Pro Location Work
The Sound Devices A20-Nexus Go is a compact, expandable, and highly capable multichannel digital wireless receiver designed for professionals in film, broadcast, and live sound. Featuring four channels of true diversity reception in a lightweight 1 RU, half-rack form factor, the A20-Nexus Go is ideal for bag-based use, yet powerful enough for cart and rackmount workflows. With upgrade options to support six or eight channels via software licenses, this receiver grows with your production needs without requiring hardware changes.
Wide Tuning Range with SpectraBand Flexibility
Built around Sound Devices’ proprietary SpectraBand technology, the A20-Nexus Go offers an unmatched tuning range from 169 to 1525 MHz. This includes both VHF and UHF bands, making it easy to avoid crowded spectrum and operate globally. Whether you're dealing with spectrum congestion in urban areas or need extended range coverage, the A20-Nexus Go and its compatible A20-Monarch and A-VHF-Dipole-BNC antennas ensure consistent, high-quality reception.
True Diversity Performance with Real-Time Spectrum Tools
Equipped with four true diversity receivers, the A20-Nexus Go offers rock-solid wireless performance, minimizing dropouts in challenging RF environments. The built-in Real Time Spectrum Analyzer (RTSA) allows you to scan the airwaves and visualize RF activity instantly, even while monitoring audio. Pair that with AutoAssign for automatic, clean frequency allocation and you’ve got a system that makes setup fast and foolproof.
Remote Control and Gain Management with NexLink and GainForward
With NexLink technology, you can take full control of your A20-Mini or A20-TX transmitters from a distance—even in environments saturated with 2.4 GHz activity. Adjust gain, apply low-cut filtering, or engage limiters from your A20-Nexus Go or compatible 8-Series mixer using GainForward architecture, eliminating the need to access the transmitter mid-shoot. Remote group power-on and power-off is also supported.
Streamlined Outputs and Flexible Powering Options
The A20-Nexus Go fits easily into your workflow thanks to its DB-25 connector that supports up to eight mic, line, or AES3 digital outputs. The receiver supports multiple power sources including DC input, optional AC adapter, and seamless integration with Sound Devices 8-Series mixer-recorders via the A20-QuickDock. Dual DC outputs on the rear panel also allow you to power accessories from the unit itself.
Compact Design Ready for Location or Studio
Whether in a small ENG bag or part of a large cart setup, the half-rack, 1 RU design of the A20-Nexus Go saves space without compromising performance. The wide OLED touchscreen provides intuitive control, while front and rear BNC antenna inputs offer flexible configuration with passive or powered antennas. From feature films to breaking news, this receiver is built to handle any pro audio environment.
Expandable System with Advanced Connectivity
Start with four channels and expand to six or eight as your production grows, with licenses—no new gear needed. The USB-A port supports external storage, timecode sync, and control peripherals. A cascade output enables daisy-chaining multiple A20-Nexus Go units, while Wordclock and timecode inputs ensure tight synchronization across your production chain.
