The LXE-1308T is a fully modular digital console and mix engine package designed for broadcasters, studios, and content creators who demand a tailored control surface. Out of the box, it features eight physical faders within a 13-position frame, complete with meterbridge, OLED displays, and a touchscreen GUI interface. Every button, knob, and display is programmable, giving you a console that adapts to your workflow, not the other way around.

Complete Control Through Programmable Controls and Displays

Each input module includes dual full-color OLED screens that reflect the function of each knob, fader, or button in real time. Buttons are RGB LED illuminated, letting you assign colors to specific roles like mute, cue, talkback, or logic control. The onboard GUI screen (via ScreenBuilder™) further empowers you to drag, drop, and script button behavior, metering, and routing logic for fast, intuitive operation.

Flexible Form Factors to Fit Any Studio Layout

The LXE is engineered for flexibility. You can configure the surface as a tabletop console with a meterbridge, a low-profile wedge (no meterbridge with HDMI display), or a flush-mount countertop drop. Each section can also be split and re-located to other rooms or modular bays. This adaptability lets you design your control room layout without being locked into rigid cabinet designs.

Onboard DSP and Full Signal Processing Capabilities

Unlike consoles that depend on external gear, the LXE integrates DSP functions right in the mix path. All eight channels come equipped with full EQ, dynamics (compression, expansion, gating), high/low pass filters, panning, and routing. Metering is handled via HDMI output instead of a physical meter bridge, keeping the surface clean and lightweight.

Seamless Network Integration with WheatNet-IP

The LXE surface and its mix engine communicate via native AoIP networking, using a single CAT6 cable. It supports connectivity with WheatNet-IP blades and modules as well as formats like analog, AES/EBU, SPDIF, AoIP, MADI, SDI, and AES67. Everything—audio, control, and logic—is unified under the same system architecture, simplifying expansion and routing.

Smart Automation and Workflow Enhancements

To streamline live production, the LXE includes features such as event recall, 8-layer fader modes (allowing more logical channels than physical faders), fader mirroring, and automation scripting. You can program macro actions or logic triggers to speed transitions or adjust multiple settings with a single touch.
