The Yamaha P15-TIS NEXO P+ is a premium coaxial point source loudspeaker designed for touring and fixed installation environments that require consistent, high-quality sound. Equipped with a purpose-built 15-inch LF neodymium driver and a 3-inch HF diaphragm driver in a coaxial arrangement, this system delivers accurate phase alignment, balanced frequency response, and uniform coverage. Rugged Cabinet Construction for Reliable Performance

Built from custom birch and poplar plywood, the P15-TIS features a curvilinear enclosure that enhances acoustic properties while ensuring long-term durability. Compact at 600mm x 483mm x 352mm, this cabinet design allows for powerful output without excessive size or weight. The rigid construction minimizes resonance, resulting in cleaner, more defined audio even in demanding conditions.

Versatile Positioning for Multiple Applications

The P15-TIS can be deployed vertically for FOH applications or positioned horizontally as a high-output stage monitor. Adjustable HF directivity enables tailored coverage to suit the venue and audience layout, helping reduce unwanted spill. This versatility makes it a go-to solution for rental companies, multi-purpose performance spaces, and mobile production crews.

Switchable Active and Passive Modes for Flexible Setup

A recessed rear-panel switch allows the P15-TIS to switch between 2-way passive and 2-way active operation, offering flexibility for both quick setups and advanced, processor-driven sound systems. For easy system integration, it features two Speakon® connectors on the rear panel and an additional connector on each side, allowing efficient daisy-chaining in larger configurations.

Touring and Installation Versions to Meet Specific Needs

The TIS touring version is equipped with ergonomic side handles, a cloth-covered grille, and robust connection hardware for the rigors of live sound. The installation version includes a fixed cloth-covered grille, universal rigging points, and a 2-core cable for IP54-rated weather resistance. Both options are available in custom RAL colors, enabling seamless integration into architectural or stage designs.
