The Yamaha STM-M28120 is a highly adaptable loudspeaker module designed to serve as a downfill speaker or as part of a compact line array system. Engineered with a 120-degree horizontal dispersion, it ensures broad and even sound coverage for a wide variety of applications. Whether used independently or in conjunction with other STM components like the M46 main module or the B112 bass module, the M28 delivers outstanding audio clarity and performance in professional sound reinforcement settings.

Injection-Molded Cabinet for Lightweight Durability
The STM-M28120 is housed in an advanced injection-molded cabinet, which provides a strong yet lightweight structure. This material choice ensures durability while maintaining a manageable weight for transport and setup. The M28 is 2/3 the height of the M46 module but maintains the same width, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into a larger STM system or function as a standalone compact line array.

Innovative CompassRig™ and REDLock™ Rigging for Easy Setup
One of the standout features of the M28 is its CompassRig™ and REDLock™ rigging system, designed for quick and secure deployment. The CompassRig™ system allows for precise pre-setting of inter-cabinet angles, making it easy to achieve the perfect sound dispersion. The REDLock™ handle locks the front rigging points from the rear of the cabinet, allowing a single operator to adjust and secure the module without requiring access to multiple positions.

Dual LF and HF Drivers for High-Performance Audio
With two 8-inch low-frequency drivers and dual high-frequency compression drivers, the STM-M28120 delivers a powerful and well-balanced audio output. The system boasts a frequency response of 65Hz–19kHz, ensuring detailed reproduction of both low-end warmth and high-end clarity. With a peak SPL of 141dB, this module provides the necessary power for large-scale live events, concerts, and professional installations.
